Pavones became known thanks to surfers, but it has also become popular among nature lovers. The area is a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with over 275 bird species, including scarlet macaws, toucans, and hummingbirds. The lush rainforest covering the hills is home to various wildlife, including three types of monkeys. Pavones is a small area, but its concentration of rare plants, animals, and aquatic life is truly magical.
