All are included on this full day with the exception of Fishing Licenses if applicable and tips to Captain and Mate. You have excellent shots at Sailfish and often Marlin! You will be fishing for some of the best waters in the world for these fish!
Boat over to Matapalo: Usually a morning departure and 45-minute boat ride to view the pricelessly beautiful Osa Peninsula from the water. You can also take your boards and surf any one of three righthand points. Often you will troll on the way over to see if you can hook up a fish to eat on your return. Six Persons
Whale Watching and Dolphin Excursions: When in season, A special sight to see whales breach on their annual migration into the Golfo Dulce.
Boat Taxi: This is a nice comfortable alternative to a land taxi if you have to get to Golfito, Puerto Jimenez, or Matapalo.
Land Taxi: For those needing to get to almost anywhere on the Peninsula, Ciudad Neily, Paso Canoas, Golfito, or almost anywhere in the Southern Zone, even to San Jose.
Daily Guide Services: A driver with your auto can take you around the area to visit some of the nearby beaches or just about whatever you might like to do.
Hikes: Up into the hills to see monkeys (There are three types common in this area), toucans, parrots and sometimes dart frogs maybe even a sloth.
River Hikes / Tubing: Up the Rio Claro to super serene settings and possibly to get river shrimp (prawns) for you to have cooked for dinner later that day.
Horseback Riding: Either on the beach, down the roads, or up into the hillsides. Choose to ride for a couple of hours, half-day, or six-hour excursions to the Indian reserve if you like.
Surfing Lessons: We have very good surfers who can teach you the basics of surfing, have you out there, and with a little time have you up and riding waves. This is often done at the beach where the boats are docked, or over at a fun easy break called “Rancho del Mar”.
Surf Tours: Knowledgeable bilingual Guides take you where the tides are right for the break, as well as where surfing may be breaking best!
Kayaking: Gulf Kayaking with an experienced guide. Head down the coast to view the landscapes from the ocean. Excellent recreational exercise. Should be a reasonably good swimmer and in good physical shape.
Bicycle Rentals: Get a bike and venture out around the area! It’s fun just to ride down the road running along the beach and find yourselves your own private beach.
